Salon Patrick Nail Technicians will provide clients with high-quality manicures, pedicures, and nail treatments like nail extensions. You will be able to build and maintain relationships with clients with excellent customer service and communication skills as well as provide outstanding nail services.
To be successful as a nail technician, you should maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation at all times. Ultimately, an outstanding nail technician will also be aware of the latest nail products, trends, and techniques to ensure that clients are satisfied with the services provided.
Nail Technician Responsibilities:
Providing high-quality manicures and pedicures, which includes removing old nail polish from fingernails and toenails, cleaning nails, shaping of nails, cuticle care and precise and neat application of the client’s preferred nail polish choice.
Sanitizing all nail instruments and equipment before each use.
Ensuring that stations and supply area are kept clean and orderly.
Providing high-quality hand and foot massages.
Be able to suggest and help clients select nail polish color
Sanitize manicure station and pedicure tubs after each client
Familiarize yourself with products used in services
Knowledge of other services performed in the salon to be able to cross promote with fellow employees
Efficient in removal of nail polish, gel polish and nail extensions
Nail Technician Requirements:
High school diploma or GED.
State manicurist/cosmetologist license.
In-depth knowledge of manicure and pedicure techniques.
Detail-oriented
Excellent hand-eye coordination.
Effective communication skills.
Exceptional customer service skills.
