The Aveda Store Team Leader is responsible for coordinating daily, weekly activities of the front desk.
Other duties include:
Assisting the Retail sales coordinator with goals.
Making sure the sales goals board is completed every morning at opening.
Knowledgeable in current computer software Salon Biz Central and able to run reports on Enterprise. (Enter new staff codes and inform salon biz of problems)
Maintain Student's "book" by opening and closing book according to Student's schedule for duration of their training. Blocking for walk ins
Daily communication with staff on promos as well as Guests
Support sales along with the Aveda Retail Advisor
Handles all daily banking. Audits register amounts during opening and closing procedures.
Respond to client inquires and client complaints and resolve challenges working with the appropriate staff.
Serves as a resource to clients regarding school services, pricing information.
Trains Front Desk Staff on computer and ticket coordinating
Prepares weekly schedule for review and responsible for insuring that the desk is adequately staffed
Keeping the desk organized and all required paperwork is sufficiently prepared
Maintaining office supplies, gift card envelopes, and communicating with inventory concerning restocking
Responsible for assigning, maintaining the cleaning of the retail shelves on daily basis
Once training is completed, after 90 days you will have specific benchmarks relating to customer service
Provides performance and attendance reviews on staff assisting Director of school.
Job Requirements:
High school graduate
Previous retail experience preferred
Excellent customer service skills
Dependable, motivated and team oriented
Computer knowledge
Cosmetology license preferred
Available to work retail hours, days, evenings, weekends.
